Aspen is a Utah local cosplayer who grew up around anime and video games when not inside the dance studio. Growing up around the extravagant costumes of ballet gave her the continued desire to not only wear complex costumes but also to make them. Her first opportunity to cosplay came in 2010 when she was invited to join the cosplaying charity group H.E.R.O.I.C Inc. and made her first costume for the events.

 

Since then Aspen has been invited to judge costume contests for several conventions and host panels on cosplay. She is always striving to learn new ways to make props and costumes and making her repetoir expand. Aspen graduated with her BFA in Modern Dance in 2015 and is striving to find ways to make the dance and the cosplay become one.
